iPhone through binoculars
There about 20 or so, some mature and some juvenile (under 5 years old). Some were in the field and some were in the trees. Really neat to see them in the wild. Also the sun set.

Cool. I didn’t realize they winter that far north. We get bald eagles down here in Texas regularly during the winter.

I was working on a lock & dam on the Illinois & Iowa boarder a few years ago, the river was froze over and no doubt there was 200+ eagles around. Amazing.

Nebraska gets a bunch of them in winter, there’s a power plant that always has a running river that’s popular with them. They do special tours to view them even.
